哪些資料會保存？
PocketJoy 使用本機儲存保存語言、主題、收藏、最近遊玩、分數、勝場、關卡與放置收益。
資料何時可能消失？
- 清除瀏覽器網站資料。
- 使用無痕模式後關閉視窗。
- 更換瀏覽器、裝置或網站網域。
- 瀏覽器因儲存空間不足回收資料。
部署時避免換網域
本機資料依網站來源隔離。從測試子網域換到正式網域後，舊進度不會自動搬移，因此最好提早確定正式網址。
隱私優勢
本機存檔能降低網站接收玩家資料的範圍，但仍需清楚說明使用了哪些瀏覽器儲存。
先確認瀏覽器有沒有在幫倒忙
Safari 的「防止跨網站追蹤」會在七天沒有互動後清掉腳本寫入的本機儲存；Chrome 與 Edge 在無痕視窗關閉時一律清空；部分手機瀏覽器的「省空間」或「清理」功能也會把網站資料一併回收。這些都不是故障，而是預設行為。想長期保留進度，最實際的做法是把 PocketJoy 加到主畫面，並且至少每週開一次。
怎麼手動備份
- 在桌面瀏覽器按 F12 打開開發者工具，切到 Application（Chrome）或 Storage（Firefox）分頁。
- 找到 Local Storage 底下的本站網域，裡面就是所有進度鍵值。
- 右鍵複製，或把整份內容貼進純文字檔保存。
- 要還原時，在同一個面板把鍵值貼回去，重新整理頁面即可。
這個方法不需要帳號，也不需要把資料交給任何伺服器——代價是它得由你自己來做。
換裝置時該怎麼辦
本機儲存不會跨裝置同步。手機上的關卡進度不會出現在電腦上，反之亦然。如果你同時在兩台裝置上玩，最省事的做法是把它們當成兩份獨立存檔，而不是期待它們合併。清除瀏覽器資料前，先用上面的方法備份一次。
What is saved?
PocketJoy uses local storage for language, theme, favorites, recent games, scores, wins, levels and idle earnings.
When can data disappear?
- Clearing browser site data.
- Closing a private-browsing session.
- Changing browser, device or site domain.
- Browser storage eviction when space is low.
Avoid changing domains after launch
Local data is isolated by site origin. Progress on a test subdomain does not automatically move to the production domain, so choose the final address early.
Privacy advantage
Local saves reduce the amount of player data received by the site, but the storage used should still be clearly disclosed.
Check whether the browser is working against you
Safari's Intelligent Tracking Prevention clears script-written local storage after seven days without interaction. Chrome and Edge wipe it whenever a private window closes. Some mobile browsers' "free up space" tools sweep site data along with the cache. None of this is a malfunction — it is default behaviour. The most practical way to keep progress long-term is to add PocketJoy to your home screen and open it at least once a week.
How to back up by hand
- On desktop, press F12 to open developer tools and go to Application (Chrome) or Storage (Firefox).
- Find this site's domain under Local Storage — every progress key lives there.
- Copy the entries, or paste the whole set into a plain text file.
- To restore, paste the keys back in the same panel and reload the page.
This needs no account and hands your data to no server. The trade-off is that you have to do it yourself.
Moving to another device
Local storage does not sync across devices. Level progress on a phone will not appear on a laptop, and the reverse is equally true. If you play on both, the least frustrating approach is to treat them as two separate save files rather than expecting a merge. Back up first, using the steps above, before clearing browser data.
